Celtic Festival Parade - Sunday March 16, 2008

Around 20 brave dancers and helpers
drove, walked or danced the parade course on Sunday March 16. Even
though the Scottish presence was not highlighted in media reports,
there was a lot of waving and cheering going on from the humongous
crowd.
This is the best opportunity all year to show the community that we exist and to make ourselves enticing. Reserve the second Sunday in March of next year, in spite of its proximity to the wonderful Spring Fling! Useful lessons were learnt from this year's experience and we will even do and look better in 2009. PLAN ON PARTICIPATING! The future of Scottish Country Dancing is at stake.
